Charles Norman SHAY, Medic (Bronze Star, Silver Star, Légion d'honneur), turns 100 this upcoming June 24. He is a Penobscot tribal chief from Maine, US, currently residing in Normandy. Him and 85 member of his community served in WWII. He was with the U.S Army 16th Infantry, 1st Division, "BIG RED ONE", on June 6th 1944. We'll jump into a Ceremony remembering native american involvement in WWII.

We'll bring in the colors to Bretteville sur Odon, Calvados, Normandy, France. We'll be greeted by the UNC and its members, their newly appointed President, county officials and the children's municipal council.

Mont Saint Michel is a 1000 year old medieval city on a tidal island and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll be jumping at Val Saint Père a 1934 grass airfield in Avaranches, in the Mount Saint Michel Bay.

We'll jump in period clothing (requested by the municipality) into a WW2 Airshow over a historic manor (small castle). There will be historic WW2 aircrafts on the ground, french jet fighters doing fly-bys over a WW2 Historic Military Encampment recreated for the occasion. A crowd of 200 school children is also expected alongside international VIPs.

Our highlight jump, joining 70 french and Belgian skydivers jumping into the main aerial ceremony of the 80th anniversary of D-Day on Omaha Beach. There will be 4 rotations of a CASA C-212 300, 30 minutes apart. We'll be in the final rotation. Lots of VIPs expected on the ground. A crowd of 1200 U.S. Military & Civilians is expected alongside everyone else.
The 80 skydivers will land in the vicinity of the Memorial Statue "Les Braves" (The Brave) on Omaha beach. They will exit the plane 20 at a time from 10'000 FT. Expect 30 minutes in between each group of 20.
The aircraft will be a CASA C-212-300. The C-212 is made by the Spanish manufacturer CASA and is a medium cargo aircraft sporting a tailgate exit ramp. Skydivers will exit from the rear end of the aircraft. This is for Jump 3 and 4.
U.S. Veterans are making the trip to join France's "Veterans de France" and will be part of the 80 skydivers landing on Omaha beach in front of a crowd of 1200 U.S. citizens on June 7, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
